Jody is a psychotherapist who provides an opportunity for healing and growth. She has been working in the field of mental health for over 12 years and has co-founded two psychotherapy clinics during that time. Using evidence based therapies such as CBT and EMDR to treat a broad range of symptoms such as anxiety and depression has resulted in positive outcomes for her clients. Creating an environment of acceptance and transparency is of paramount importance to her practice. She attended McMaster University, achieving a B.A degree and Family Mediation Diploma. After gaining experience in the mental health field she specialized in psychotherapy and achieved a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology.
Since then she has gained invaluable experience and training that has allowed her to focus on the root of the issue rather than just the symptoms. "I believe we all have the ability to heal emotional wounds and to thrive; my role is to facilitate that healing process".
